Whiteley Community Association is a committee of Whiteley residents working in a voluntary capacity to run the Community Centre. The core group (Executive Committee) meets monthly and keeps an active contact with the general running of the centre. The General Committee meets quarterly, and involves more of the centre users. Support for the staff, users, fund raising and decision making are among the tasks fulfilled by the committee. Regular meetings allow centre users to keep each other, the staff and committee informed of day to day issues and activities.

Whiteley Community Centre is a facility for the whole of the Whiteley area. It has a range of activities, many run by Whiteley residents. The main hall is used for many activities, including martial arts, exercise classes, children’s groups, parties and the community pre-school. Other meeting rooms are available and suitable for smaller activity groups and business meetings. All of the rooms are available for hire. There is a small kitchen and a coffee shop area.

The centre is also home to Buttercups Pre-School and Whiteley Church Group.
